Alamin Hussain, a survivor from Satkhira, was a victim of acid attack along with his three family members in 2011 when he was just eight years old. In June 2023, ASF arranged a three-month residential training program for him in Dhaka, focusing on ICT, hardware, and software, with funding provided by the Australian Government. Following this, Alamin has been participating in online training sessions remotely on digital marketing, supported by ASF, to enhance his skills and generate income through outsourcing opportunities. Alamin expressed a need for a laptop to further his learning and earning, but his family was unable to provide him with one. Upon learning of his situation, Professor Nujhat Jahan, ASF Adviser and CEO of Faith Regen Foundation, UK and Farzana Kareem generously offered to gift him a laptop. Acting on her behalf, our Trustee, Golam Abbas, purchased a high-quality and updated specification Dell laptop, which has been handed over to Alamin at our office on 25 March 2024. Wishing him success in his career endeavors. Your generous support is crucial in empowering acid survivors. You can help!
