She has been burnt 19% according to the DMCH and her two eyes are fully affected. From face to knee the whole body has been burnt brutally. After the incident she has been admitted to Jessore Medical Hospital and the medical team referred her to DMCH. But due to the financial crisis it was too hard for them to bear the ambulance service and other essentials. After immediately seeing the news at the daily newspaper Acid Survivors Foundation (ASF) came forward to support her. ASF contacted the local law enforcement department and hospital authority and took details of her and immediately connected with her family.
She has 3 daughters and a boy aged 12 years. Her daughters are married and have children too. They will not be able to stay at the hospital with their kids. So, this little boy will now take care of her mother. So, ASF has tried to take care of the boy too. Besides, hospital foods are not enough for the patient. She needs a special diet like eggs, milk, fruits etc. for early and better recovery.
So, your small contribution can save a life. You may help her to purchase food, medicine and may be with small help for her little attendant as well.”
