A 2-day’s training workshop has been organized by ASF, powered by Mutual Trust Bank, and facilitated by immensely skilled and experienced trainer Dr. Motahar Akand on 20-21 September 2022. The younger generation of Acid survivors of Bangladesh took part in the training course titled, “Rights Based Approach”. May in the near future these youths will bring changes in societal aspects, remove miseries and work for human rights.

Asf was invited to participate in the Annual learning session fair organized by the AISD school on 29/08/2022. ASF gave a stall on the occasion. Secondary and higher secondary students visited the stall and inquire about ASF. The fair is held from 10.45 am to 12.30 pm.

19 July, 2022, a virtual meeting held between the Executive Director Sarder Jahangir Hossain and Ms. Farhana Patwary-a school teacher from NYC. Ms. Patwary plans to write a book on a “Fairytale about an acid attack victim”. She learned about ASF’s works from Google search engine. ASF has been doing a credible work and its website is very rich for learners, as she commented. She would like to dedicate her book for acid survivors and planning to use the ASF donation link in her book to help. Good luck for her initiative!

A family from USA with their four kids visited ASF to learn about Acid Survivors Foundation. In the session ASF senior management team presented all the activities and situation about the organization. It was really encouraging that the kids saved money from their tiffin and donated to ASF as a token of love.
