On January 9, 2022, 20 Acid Survivors who are extremely poor and helpless, received Zakat from a private sponsor (Name: Anonymous). The Zakat criteria preference has been given to the blind, widows, the elderly, the physically disabled, single mothers, and those without guardians. Here each survivor is paid the equivalent of Zakat through mobile banking transactions.
Thanks to the sponsor, who has generously chosen our survivors, said the Executive Director. It’s not just zakat, it is a part of social responsibility. This is a request to the well-off to extend their support to the helpless people living in the society and to give something back to them.
