Zakia K Hassan is working in the social sector for more than 3 decades in the country and abroad. Her passion is gender development in Bangladesh under the Human Rights portfolio. She worked with bilateral and international organizations for quite some time. Recently have completed two research work on Violence Against Women Issues. One was with health issues another one was with VOW at work place. Currently she established a Foundation called DIPTO-A Foundation for Gender & Development. Major focus of the Foundation is economic empowerment and employment generation through PPP and CSR for marginalized and vulnerable groups.
