Tasnima Matin is a development professional. She was born in Chittagong. Her late father was a professor and served in Chittagong University and her mother is a housewife. She has a younger brother. Tasnima is married and blessed with two beautiful daughters.

Tasnima completed her Ms in International Banking from Bangor Business School, University of North Wales. UK. After returning to Bangladesh she switched her profession from Banking to Development and started her career as an intern in UNAIDS. She worked in various International and national organizations like UNWFP and BRAC in Dhaka, Rupantor- Khulna and YPSA in Chittagong. She carries experience in research, development program communications, risk analysis and management and strategy development with a particular focus on women and children.
