Shahinoor Akther is an acid survivor representative in the trustee of Acid Survivors Foundation. Currently, Ms. Akther is working as a Nurse at CRHCC Primary Health Care Services Delivery Project. She also worked as a Call Center Executive H&M Support Line Tele consult group. She is trained on Basic Training on Cervical and Breast Cancer Servicing and Menstrual Regulation (MR). She also has the basic knowledge and understanding on the Labor Law, 2006; Domestic Violence (Resistance and Protection) Act, 2010, Women and Children Repression Prevention Act, 2003; High Court Verdict Preventing Sexual Harassment 2009; Pornography Prohibition Act, 2012; Muslim Family Law; Birth and Death Registration Law; Penal Code, 1860. Dowry Prevention Act, 1980, Child Marriage Restraint Act 1984.
