This is Jyoti Barua. She is serving in Acid Survivors Foundation as Program Officer-Legal. She completed her LL.B and LL.M degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Chittagong. Her core responsibilities are to provide legal advice to the survivors of acid violence and their family members/relatives, communication with internal, external human rights based organizations, acid monitoring cell, referral linkage with partner organizations, inform to law enforcement agency for legal assistance and ensure security, advocacy/lobby in high court for ongoing cases etc.

She aspires to use her expertise and knowledge by taking a strong social stand for ensuring social inclusion, through enhancing opportunities, access to resources, voice and respect for human rights within and outside the organization to achieve both individual and organizational growth.
