ANIQA MASNUN TORFA, a young, thoughtful and enthusiastic psychologist, is currently doing her Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) from the Department of Clinical Psychology, University of Dhaka. Though she is from Manikganj, she was born and brought up in Patuakhali. She passed her S.S.C. and H.S.C. sequentially from Patuakhali Govt. Girls’ High School, Patuakhali (2010) and Holy Cross College, Dhaka (2012). After completing her Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) from the Department of Psychology, the University of Dhaka in 2016, she achieved her Master of Science (M. Sc.) degree from the Department of Clinical Psychology, the University of Dhaka in 2019.

She has served in several hospitals as a Trainee Clinical Psychologist such as the National Institute of Mental Health & Hospital (NIMH), Dhaka Medical College & Hospital, as well as serving as a psychologist in many more Non-Govt. Organizations, Hospitals and Mental Health Camp settings. She has started working at ASF in 2021 as a Psychotherapist, applying her knowledge, skills and expertise for the betterment of survivors’ mental health.
